Patricia Stevens, Executive Director

Patti Stevens Patricia Stevens is the Executive Director of the Office of Public Private Partnerships (OP3), a position she has held since her appointment by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in October 2008.

Stevens has been with Fairfax County since 1999, previously serving as the Regional Director for Human Services (2004-2008) and in the Research Analysis and Project Services Division (1999-2004) in the Department of Systems Management for Human Services.

Before she came to Fairfax, she previously worked in the Office of the Secretary – Planning and Evaluation, at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In addition to her public service, Stevens has 10 years of experience in fundraising and development with community and national nonprofit organizations, beginning her career with St. Jude's Children’s research hospitals.

Stevens holds a Master of Public Administration in inter-governmental affairs from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor's in Government with a Minor in European Literature from the College of William and Mary.

Stevens is a certified by International Association of Public/Private Participation as a facilitator and by George Mason University as a process manager. She serves on the Boards of Leadership Fairfax, Inc (LFI) and the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and on the Advisory Boards of Cox Charities and the Giving Circle of Hope.  She and her husband Pat Trate live in Burke, Virginia and enjoy bicycling and the beach.
