OP3 continues to be committed to creating partnerships between the public and private communties. Let us help get your idea off the ground!

OP3 Hosts 1st IntraCounty Partnership Forum
Partnership developers and FCPS from 22 county agencies recently met to share best practices, network and brainstorm on how OP3 can help departments achieve their partnership priorities. More than 37 people learned what other parternship developers are doing, and how to get connected. The meeting also focused on ways OP3 can work with agencies to overcome challenges. "The future is partnerships," said Katie Strotman, Fairfax County Public Library. This group plans to meet quarterly.
Medical Care for Children Partnership Foundation (MCCP)

Give & Get Involved Recognize Companies that Care! Training & Resources

Fairfax-Falls Church Community Partnership to End Homelessness produced their annual snapshot that showed real progress in the fight to end homelessness. The number of homeless was down 14% with the partnership helping 2,892 people. Supervisor Jeff McKay noted that 875 of those were children - the size of an elementary school; however, to win the fight they need help. You can

- donate! $25 feeds a family for a day

- volunteer! Help is needed to train homeless people for employment

- educate! Work within your job, family and church about causes and solutions to to homeless issues.

The Fairfax Chamber of Commerce hosted a luncheon for International Philanthropy Day in late February that attracted more than 75 people and overflowed the room at Northrop Grumman.

From that meeting, there is an incredible list of companies that care and the ways they give back every day was published. Check out the companies that care in our area every day.

And, if you want to start a CSR program, here are some hot opportunities!
