Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a great corporate social responsibility (CSR) opportunity for businesses in Northern Virginia. The chamber partnered with the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Partnership to Prevent and End Homelessness to put on Jeans Day 2011: Putting the ZIP on Homelessness. Participating companies are asked to allow employees to wear jeans to work on Friday, October 21, 2011, (Jeans Day) in exchange for a $5 employee contribution to the Campaign to End Homelessness! Fairfax County is so excited about this campaign that Chairman Sharon Bulova and the Board of Supervisors have issued an official proclamation of October 21 as Jeans Day to End Homelessness!
