Stevens Receives
Northern Virginia Leadership Award


Congratulations to Patti Stevens, Executive Director of OP3 who was given the Trustee Leadership Award by Leadership Fairfax at their annual Northern Virginia Leadership Awards (NVLA) on November 9th. She was nominated and chosen for her 18 years of leadership within the Fairfax County Community. NVLA recognize leaders who have made a significant impact on Northern Virginia through volunteerism and community engagement.

Tour de Mt. Vernon

On November 4th, Supervisor Dan Storck and more than 170 bike enthusiasts joined together to ride the roads and see the hidden gems of Mt. Vernon at the 2nd Annual Tour de Mt. Vernon bike ride. Starting and ending at the Workhouse Arts Center, the 33-mile ride explored community treasures including Woodlawn and the Pope Leighey House (designed by Frank Lloyd Wright); the Historic Pohick Episcopal Church; Pohick Bay Regional Park; and Mason Neck State Park (an Eagle Sanctuary).
