Law Enforcement Supports Special Olympics

For more than 30 years Fairfax County Police (FCPD) and the Sheriff’s Office have supported Virginia Special Olympics. In 2015, Fairfax County Law enforcement and Northern Virginia agencies raised more than $500,000 to Special Olympics through the Law Enforcement Torch Run. This represents almost 50% of the statewide total! Through numerous fundraisers held throughout the year, police and deputies have generously given both time and money to help show the world the capabilities of people with intellectual disabilities.
