Lake Anne Revitalization

Members of OP3 and Visit Fairfax held a discussion on ways to attract more visitors and businesses to Lake Anne. During the meeting, which took place in the Reston Community Center at Lake Anne, guests discussed things they believe would make Lake Anne more of a destination. "Lake Anne Village Center offers visitors memorable experiences and sense of community, while doing simple things like getting their hair or nails done, eating lunch, or hunting for used books," said Patricia Stevens, Executive Director of OP3. Financial Investment Inc. (FII) is a multi-million dollar asset management and investment strategy firm in Herndon, VA. Their community giving focuses on poverty relief and child and youth development in Northern Virginia. FII continues to work with charities and non-profits including the Dulles Rotary Club, Western Fairfax Christian Ministries, Jill's House and Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as other area charities. FII will be accepting grant proposals until September 30. According to Craig B. Kendall, President, "Giving back to the community has always been very important to us here.
